We started Gran Nova to take on fewer projects and see each one through from start to finish.
At many agencies, the person you meet at the first meeting isn’t the one who does the design. Here, it is. The same people listen, explore, prepare the files and go to the printer.
We only run a handful of projects at a time. That lets us reply quickly, keep to the dates we give, and know your file without digging through our notes.
When a project needs a skill we don’t have (a specialist developer, a food photographer, a metalworker), we bring in people we’ve worked with for years. You still have one point of contact.
Our habits
We print everything before signing off.
A logo that works on screen can be unreadable on a two-centimetre stamp. We check it on paper, at every size.
We write the copy with you.
Nobody knows your trade better than you. We ask the questions, draft a first version, and you correct it.
We say no when we should.
If a project is outside what we do well, we tell you, and point you to someone better placed.
Your files are yours.
Sources, fonts, website access: everything is handed over at the end. You can carry on with us or without us.
